Illustration is the field where a variety of mediums can be used, anywhere from paint- pencils. Illustration is the act of showing something pictorially that was hand made or computer generated. Illustration is used to visually show what a writer is talking about, to aid the explanation with a visual. many people enjoy books or magazines with images in them. Illustration  aids on the overall appearance of the page layout.
To the right are links of "non-commissioned" illustrations that were created on our own time with no paying client. In this section the artist is their own art director. The "commissioned" illustrations is where there was a client that had particular thoughts and views of the visual they wanted to show. Most of these are for commercial uses, such as magazines and books.
